TC IPA™ is an integrated payment application that reduces barriers to EMV and minimizes PCI DSS scope.
SANTA ANA, California, February 25, 2016 — TrustCommerce®, the leading provider of secure payment solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of our new cloud-based product, TC IPA™ – Integrated Payment Application.
TC IPA is an integrated payment application that allows payments to be securely collected and aggregated through a single consolidated, integrated, and resilient application, descoping your other software applications.
This innovative solution provides clients with several important benefits unmatched in the industry:
- Further reduces PCI scope for clients by removing other software systems from handling PCI data.
- Offers merchants the ability to reach their EMV goals without the burden of having to go through a time consuming and costly EMV certification.
- Relieves the burden and cost of developing to new, more complex credit card devices.
- Allows web services, making integration to TrustCommerce even easier.
- Provides multichannel reporting and reconciliation tools.
“As PCI DSS and other compliance requirements become more sophisticated and security threats become increasingly prevalent, organizations need a better approach towards accepting and securing payments,” said Rob Caulfield, Chief Executive Officer of TrustCommerce. “TC IPA answers that need and more.”
The initial TC IPA release is centered on integrated client environments utilizing third-party software. It reduces barriers to EMV and addresses ongoing PCI DSS compliance requirements by providing a single cloud-based application for integrating any payment system across an organization such as interactive voice response (IVR), custom applications, mail order, call centers, and many others. The solution reduces, if not eliminates, PCI scope as the Primary Account Number (PAN) data will never go through the third-party software. Information passed through the client network is encrypted and non-readable.
TC IPA manages the payment device and routes encrypted payment data to the TrustCommerce Core for processing, returning the transaction results back to the third-party application. The third-party is relieved of the device integration burden and the handling of any PCI data.
In alignment with PCI DSS, only encrypting devices are supported. TC IPA is integrated with Ingenico Group’s smart terminals, including the iSC250, iSC480, and iPP350. Ingenico Group was selected for their broad line of devices that share a common EMV kernel.
TC IPA offers the best performance and dependability with an easy implementation process. Several clients are in production processing with TC IPA and Epic health record software’s new credit card interface.
