Add PayPal and Venmo to Your Payment Mix with TrustCommerce

TrustCommerce is proud to offer PayPal and Venmo as new payment options for cardholders in the TC Premier Hosted Payment Page for Ecommerce. Further, clients using TrustCommerce’s integration with popular EHR software can also enable PayPal and Venmo as a payment option. PayPal is a digital wallet which customers can fund and use to make payments online, and additionally, they can store multiple payment methods like credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts, as well as PayPal financing options. Merchants use PayPal to help increase trust during the checkout process, lower cart abandonment rates, and leverage fraud and dispute protection.

So, why add PayPal to your payments mix?

Used by 400+ million[1], PayPal is a popular way to pay and chances are your customers already use it. By extending this option, it goes a long way to offer customers a positive, frictionless payment experience.

Here are a few benefits of using PayPal:

  • PayPal may help lower cart abandonment rates by reducing friction during the transaction process, by requiring customers to enter a username and password instead of typing in card details.
  • PayPal offers a dispute resolution platform which tracks and resolves disputes between consumers and merchants.
  • Additionally, PayPal will try all the payment methods a customer has loaded into their PayPal wallet before declining the transaction. This lowers the probability a transaction will ultimately be declined.

The TrustCommerce integration

TrustCommerce is integrated with PayPal to enable providers to add PayPal and Venmo to their existing payment workflows using TrustCommerce’s secure hosted payment page product, TC Trustee® Premier. TC Trustee Premier is integrated with leading EHRs and other TrustCommerce partners. This offers patients additional flexibility with fast, convenient, and safe online payment options.

Reporting is a snap. View PayPal transactions alongside your other transactions within TC Vault® reporting. TC Vault records PayPal transactions with the media type of ‘PayPal’. These transactions can be viewed within Summary and Chain reports. In addition, you can also generate a custom Dynamic Report for PayPal transactions in the Dynamic Report section of the Vault.

TrustCommerce clients can easily sign up for PayPal directly from within the TC Vault, enabling them to start accepting PayPal transactions quickly. Clients select PayPal within their TC Vault account, and are redirected to PayPal to sign up or sign in. Merchants complete their registration within PayPal and are redirected back to the TC Vault once complete. Once signed up PayPal will be automatically enabled on their Premier hosted payment page.
